The Giraffes!

The Giraffes are our weekly animal! Here are some facts about them! (My 3rd favorite animal over a panda and a narwhal)

The giraffe is the tallest playable character in Animal Jam.  The giraffe is perfect for players who are tall, clumsy, and vegetarian.

Here are some interesting facts about giraffe:

• A male giraffe can weigh as much as a pick up truck! That’s about 1400 kilograms.
• Although a giraffe’s neck is 1.5 – 1.8 metres, it contains the same number of vertebrae at a human neck.
• Drinking is one of the most dangerous times for a giraffe. While it is getting a drink it cannot keep a look out for predators and is vulnerable to attack.
• The hair that makes up a giraffes tail is about 10 times thicker than the average strand of human hair.
• Giraffes have bluish-purple tongues which are tough and covered in bristly hair to help them with eating the thorny Acacia trees.

Sorry for the wait!

Okay, hey guys and as you can see by the heading, I am apologizing for the wait on all the cool new things!

There is a lot to talk about so, turn on your ears.

First of all, you can type in a totally fabulous code that will give you an AJ birthday cake!

Speaking of AJ's  birthday, There is a new AJ birthday party and your just being eaten by frosting because your in a gigantic cake! It looks like this.

Ok, in other news, the old map is back! It's awesome but i'm kind of getting confused because i got used to the other one. It went from this:

Also, there is a new place in Kimbara Outback. It is called The Medical Center, and I think it's a great idea. Point Animal Jam!

There are new things going on everywhere! Because also, there is a new shop in Adventure Base Camp, and a new adventure / place in Adventures Beta coming soon called "The Hive".  Here are pictures of everything.

The Bunnies

Hey Guys! I wanted to talk about the bunnies of AJ, since the pandas got the spotlight last week! They look like this

          

Sorry that's a bit blurry.

Bunnies were one of the first animals to be released in Animal Jam. They are one of the most popular animals and also the smallest. Their appearance when first being created is white with black and red eyes and a pink inner ear. 

Bunnies by nature are quick, creative, and clever. Their personality is displayed perfectly by their Alpha, Peck.  Bunnies can also be found in "Return of the phantoms" in adventures beta.

                                                     

Actions

The bunnies' "Play" action is an animation of them twirling their ears, causing them to hover or fly.

Their "Dance" action allows them to break dance and jump upon their ears.

When jumping, they bounce abnormally higher than the rest of the animals in the game given their size (the larger Tigers tie in height), giving them their signature "bunny hop".

Their "sleep" action involves a bunny relatively sprawled out in a slumbering manner.

                                                        Okay, back to the AJ news.

The Pandas

Hi Jammers, I decided I was going to talk about a different animal in Jamaa every week. I decided to start with panda, because everyone loves pandas right? Heres what they look like.

The panda is a playable character in Animal Jam.  The panda is perfect for players who are cuddly, good-looking, and lazy.

Here are some interesting facts about panda:

• Pandas are an endangered species. Population estimates vary but there may be around 2000 left living in the wild.
• Giant panda have a lifespan of around 20 years in the wild.
• The diet of a panda is made up almost entirely of bamboo.
• An animated movie from 2008 named ‘Kung Fu Panda’ features a giant panda called ‘Po’.
• A giant panda cub weighs only around 150 grams (5 oz) at birth. And adult males up to 330lbs.

 Hey Guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a few, but my homework has been getting bad lately. But, I have alot of new things to keep you posted with!

Wind Armor

                           

Hey Guys! There is a new product in The Diamond Shop called Wind Armor! There are 5 pieces too it, and if I do say so myself, it looks pretty neat.

There is also a VERY cool new feature called Jammer Snaps, where you take a screen shot somewhere or doing something that AJHQ tells you to do in the Jamma Journal. I am definitely participating in this!

The new Gems x2 for the next 2 weeks is Gem Ball, as you can see.

Hey guys! I started adding headings! ^^^ First of all, there is a new adventure where you can meet Cosmo!

There is also a new product in Jam Mart furniture. But ugh AJ, did you have to remind us of school MORE than we already are being? It looks like this.
